2018 Nissan LEAF vs. Competition

2018 LEAF vs. 2018 Chevrolet Bolt

2018 LEAF: starting MSRP $29,990 | 2018 Bolt: starting MSRP $37,495

The Bolt is largely considered the 2018 LEAFs most direct competitor, with both vehicles featuring a hatchback design. While they are similar in style, the LEAF is ultimately a decent bit larger with 176.4" overall length and 42.1" of front leg room (vs. 164" overall length and 41.6" front leg room on Bolt). This translates to a more comfortable ride for the driver with roomier seats. While both feature a variety of tech and safety features, the LEAF has an edge with available Adaptive Cruise Control and an available conventional navigation system. Conversely, the Bolt does not offer Adaptive Cruise Control and navigation is only available via a connected smartphone.

2018 LEAF vs. Tesla Model 3

2018 LEAF: starting MSRP $29,990 | Model 3: starting MSRP $35,000

One of the biggest advantages to the LEAF is that you can drive it now! The 2018 LEAF is now available at Nalley Nissan of Atlanta and more are arriving each day. While Tesla has begun delivering a very limited number of Model 3 vehicles to select customers, a 12-18 month delivery wait time still remains for new reservations. Why wait when you can enjoy the savings of a fully-electric vehicle today?

The LEAF's hatchback design provides greater flexibility and convenience with 23.6 cf of cargo space, versus the 15 cf in the Model 3 sedan. When it comes to driver's assist technologies, Nissan offers ProPILOT on select LEAF trims for an additional $2,200 - a large savings against the $5,000 to active Enhanced Autopilot on the Model 3. Additionally, while electric vehicles are generally very low maintenance, it's nice to know that there are many convenient Nissan Service Center locations available throughout the nation - including Nalley Nissan of Atlanta. From routine tire rotations to repairs, you can rest assured knowing that expert help is only a moment away should your electric vehicle need it.
